Our client is the chief executive officer (CEO) of one of the largest private equity firms in the United States. His firm manages approximately $15 billion and has completed nearly 1,000 transactions. 

In the world of private equity, and for every business today, reputation is everything. A recent institutional investor survey by Edelman concluded: “private equity firms will need to work harder to build and maintain their reputations… private equity firms must balance driving solid returns with a strategic approach to reputation management.” 

Reputation Rhino was engaged to promote and highlight positive online results to appear on the top pages of Google for the CEO and his firm and suppress certain negative results appearing in Google Images, Google Autocomplete, and Google Related Searches.

To influence Google Autocomplete and Google Related Search queries, we use crowd-sourced solutions to send click traffic from real human visitors to search engine results pages, increasing organic click-through rate (CTR) which is a Google ranking factor – and is a particularly influential tactic for impacting Autocomplete and Related Search results.

We leveraged our content publishing relationships with over 5,000 blogs and news sites and placed interviews and feature stories on several leading online publications while also building supporting links to new and existing content on our industryleading Private Blog Network (PBN) to ensure our newly created content would rank on Page 1.

Our client had not invested in protecting their most valuable asset; their online reputation. Our goal was to change that quickly!

THE RESULTS

The proof is in the results. We were able to transform our client’s online reputation in less than twelve months by building upon and maintaining those results over time.

  • We published and ranked a total of 12 search results in the top 25 for the CEO
  • Of the six images originally visible near the top of Google Images, there are now none
  • Google Autocomplete results are ALL Positive and Neutral 

We successfully removed negative content from Twitter, The Robb Report, and several other news sites and blogs in addition to the improvements made above.
